Great facility. Rather short on parking during tournaments though. So, the earlier you get there the better uf it is anything other than a pickup game.

Just finished up a 3 day tournament at this facility. This was probably the best facility I have been to for a volleyball tournament. Most facilities dont have as much room for spectating and felt cramped. The volleyball team enjoyed the upstairs lounge room to have breaks.The academy sports center had lots of space in general which made things all around better. The mens bathroom was definitly needing cleaned more often and smelled badly of urine all three days. parking was a definite problem for larger events as well.

okay it’s great environment great coaches amazing girls that know what there doing but just executed horribly it doesn’t give the girls a chance to connect with ones team cause it’s just one big gym we are all in and yes practice is fun but it would be sm better if they split up certain groups and give them to a coach and had separate gyms and practice times for them and maybe that’s the whole point is just one big group but i think other girls would actually like that too and being able to connect and make friends while also doing the sport you love but going in there it is fun the coaches are well rounded and do help where they see needs working i will say that it’s just very overwhelming with all the girls and not being able to get to know them like a team cause these are girls ur gonna be playing with for a month

Dave left the program for retire. His son Alec takes over the program and he run the program his terrible He is very arrogant doesn’t care about author athletes, but his own favorite and if you have any problems come to talk to him he won’t take care of the situation he punished your kids by putting your child to the lowest teams. Shawna is their a program operator manager and coach as well, she is not a good coach, she miss treated her athletes and a bully. She’s never smiled if you send her emails over some concerns. Don’t waste your time and energy to wait for her reply. My daughter and I left the program last year because both Alec and Shawna ponished my daughter over something I said and they didn’t like it. So, during the course of tryouts they kept dropping my daughter from the A team ( Adidas ) to B team ( Molten ) to C team ( 15 Black ) to D team ( 15 red ) and last E team ( 15 white ) Cause my daughter embarrassment and emotional damage. Because if you go ask every single person on the program. All of them will say that my daughter is the best setter and all around player in her age group. But Alec and Shawna punished my daughter because of me. So, my daughter is no longer playing Volleyball again. This year. 2024-2025 seasons I. Have learned that a lot of people left their program. That’s all I can say. In the other hand. Their accounting lady is an amazing person to work with. Dave ( Alac’s ) Father was an amazing gym owner and coach. Sad he retired.

The facility itself is a large rectangular building with the admin and shops upfront. The rear of the building consists of space for 6 volleyball courts. There are also basketball hoops attached to the walls that can be pulled out for games. Four courts were set up the day I visited, 2 side by side with a court of space used for bleachers in between. The poster who complained of the courts being too close and balls coming into theirs from adjacent courts is correct. The facility does have very nice large digital displays for the score. This is nice as you can see if from the stands and court. The names of the team's are input instead of having to guess who is home or guest. The building itself is very cold, there is a chill coming in from the front door. There is a concessions stand up stairs and a pro shop downstairs. The pro shop sells shirts, sweaters, backpacks, shoes, balls, ankle supports, straps, and icing devices. The concession stand sells a variety of food and drinks, there is no grill. All the food is microwaved or heated with water like soup and noodles. The stand prices seem to be about 4 times the normal supermarket price. They served a limited variety Quiznos subs. They have a guest wifi if you need, the info is next to the concessions stand. There are two gigantic fans on the ceiling,presumably to keep airflow.
