Powered by GoogleCamp Wabasso has been part of my heart for as long as I can remember. I was a camper there as a child, then spent my college years working at camp, and now my daughter is a frequent camper. Getting to watch her experience something that shaped me is incredibly powerful! Camp teaches skills that simply cannot be duplicated anywhere else. It builds confidence, independence, resilience, friendships, and a sense of belonging that lasts long after the summer ends. The lessons learned and memories made truly stay with you. Camp Wabasso stays in your heart. It always has for me, and now I see that same impact in my daughter. I am so grateful for this camp that has impact across generations.
Friendly, fun, and fantastic time for the kids. The staff is super friendly. The kids love the adventures they have at camp.
My daughter will be spending her third year at camp this year. The first time she went she was 6 and extremely anxious and excited. The counselors are fantastic in easing the children’s anxiety’s as well as the parents. She has so much fun and makes so many friends. Camp is now just part of her summer fun and memories. We look forward to continuing this yearly tradition.
Camp has had a lasting impact on both of my kids- allowing for social opportunities without the pressures of a school environment as well as learning valuable life skills and just having fun. I also appreciate how accommodating and communicative management have been through the years. I highly recommend Camp Wabasso.
My daughter had her very first overnight camp experience at Camp Wabasso, and it couldn’t have been more positive. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and a warm, welcoming attitude that instantly put both of us at ease. They are not only friendly and approachable but also clearly dedicated to making every camper feel included and valued. She raved about the food (which is high praise from her!) and loved the variety of daily activities that kept her engaged from morning to night. I was impressed by how thoughtfully the staff balanced safety with adventure—taking every precaution to prevent injuries or illness while still allowing the kids to experience the joy and excitement of exploring the outdoors. Drop-off and pick-up were smooth and well-organized, and I found the cost to be very reasonable for the quality of the experience provided. Each week’s theme adds an extra layer of fun, giving the campers something new and exciting to look forward to. The campgrounds are beautiful—clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature that inspires exploration and play. The communication between staff and families was outstanding: clear, thorough, and always friendly, ensuring I felt connected and informed throughout her stay. Camp Wabasso truly delivered a memorable and confidence-building first camp experience for my daughter, and I’m so grateful for the care and joy they pour into every camper’s week.
