My 4 year old son was new to baseball and I’m extremely happy with his progress. Coach Harold is patient and my son grew comfortable. I definitely would recommend for any player of all skill levels to receive sessions because there is always room for improvement and when he joined his optimist team playing with the older kids, the coach’s there were impressed with what my son could do already.

Harold has been nothing but great in coaching and working with my 7-year old. His sessions and workouts have helped my son’s growth and development overall from a baseball skills standpoint. He absolutely knows what he’s doing, he keeps the kids challenged and makes the classes fun as well. I highly recommend him!

Harold is so great with our son. He has helped him so much. Just in the short few months that we have been with Harold he has helped my son improve his baseball skills. We will continue to train with and would recommend anyone looking for a baseball coach to train with he is your guy!

Rafael does a great job with our son. He is very good at explaining things in a way that translates to a young hitter. He is patient when our son isn’t doing something right and celebrates him doing things correctly. We are very pleased he is our hitting coach!!

I’ve been taking my son to Rafael for nearly a year for hitting lessons. It’s been one of the best decisions we e made to improve his baseball IQ and hitting approach. My son had just turned 11 when we started going to Rafael. He was going through his first struggles as a hitter on a travel ball team. I’d heard a couple other friends had gone to see Raf and we knew him a little bit as an umpire in the area. When we started going he already knew my son from games he’d umpired, he knew his swing, he knew the problems he was having, but most importantly, he knew how to help my son fix it. Rafael is a very kind young man and young people are naturally drawn to him. He talks on their level about baseball, but when they need to lighten up, he can talk about other things like movies, music and so forth too before he gets them back on task. He has a steady consistent approach to hitting that is way more practical than a lot of people whose training begins and ends with “swing as hard as you can every pitch.” (Yes. We’ve heard that from paid coaches.) My son immediately started putting Raf’s approach in play, and the results were immediate. This winter we continued coming to Rafael and mixed in a defensive lesson every other trip. The results with hand quickness and an understanding of feet, hands, balance all working together has been amazing. I would recommend players of any age seeking out Rafael and learning his approach on offense and defense. He’s a great teacher, and a great young man.
