Powered by GoogleWe joined the 20 Mile Athletic Center (20 MAC) family about a year and a half ago. Our son was always interested in gymnastics, but racing dirt bikes was his first passion. He had a rec coach encourage him to compete and after that he was hooked. So much so we found ourselves searching for a USAG boys team. Unfortunately, boys gymnastics teams are few and far between. Additionally, none of the gyms we called would even entertain a tryout, until we called 20 MAC. Cesar allowed him to do a 2 week trial and the rest is history. We are more like family now and couldn’t be happier. The coaches are top notch. Some days are easier for our son than others dealing with the challenges of the sport, but one of our favorite parts as parents is the coach’s desire to grow and establish well rounded young leaders within the community. If you spend a short time around the gym you can see the level of care, effort, and passion the coaches have for the sport, but also shaping young minds outside the school atmosphere and in the real world in one of the most challenging sports disciplines that exists. I can promise your kids will be challenged, but guided through coaching from the staff to understand how those challenges will help them succeed in the future. On top of that, you will also see a group of young men on the boys team that have been through many of the challenges mentoring their lower level teammates. This is the admirable part in my opinion, and I hope our son follows suite one day. He has been afforded that opportunity with his younger brother now pursuing his goals at the gym. Watching them work together and seeing our eldest coach and mentor his younger brother through the earliest of challenges makes our hearts filled with joy. We are so grateful to be a part of the 20 MAC family and look forward to both the challenges and successes of the future for our boys. We cannot recommend the gym enough for all gymnasts, boy or girl, as all the gymnasts and parents we’ve talked to have the utmost respect and appreciation for the gym, the coaches and staff, and owner operator behind all of the gym’s programs!
Visited for a private birthday party for a 4 yr old and his little friends. There were 2 young adults around the kids. The guy was so great. I never caught his name but he interacted with the little ones so wonderful. Keeping them safe, fun positive energy. Lady at the front desk was nice when I talked to her. The young gal that was working along the guy. She was nice but seemed more concerned about sharing her gymnastics experience with the adults than supporting the little ones. She showed off her skills whenever possible talking about how many years she trained, how often, the damage to her body, etc etc. Regardless of her the kids all had such a nice time. The table set up with balloons was so sweet.
We recently began bringing my toddler to 20 Mile Athletic Center for tots gymnastics and we're so happy we did. The coach does a tremendous job of creatively organizing play, while infusing some gymnastics basics at the same time. The staff is friendly and helpful starting right when you walk in at the front desk. We found the gym through a friend's recommendation even though it's not so close to our house, the little extra drive has been absolutely worth it with how comfortable and happy we've been here. Already looking forward to years to come brining my daughter here!
Outstanding gym with exceptional coaches. Rec coaches are engaged with the kids and both the boys program and girls xcel program have coaches that have stuck around. Team leadership is evident and the programs are administered fairly and professionally. Some of the best coach to parent communication of any gym ive seen. Your kids, boys or girls, will be treated right and have a great experience at 20 mile.
My twin boys absolutely love it here. They are expected to be restful, work hard, and listen. We go 3 to 4 times a week. The coaches are knowledgeable, caring, and hold them to solid expiations. We've just started team now and I am super impressed with the quality of the coaches and the employees. They do a great job. The coaches are engaged, knowledgeable and present.
