When l visited on Friday and couple times. Door is closed.
I didn’t have a good experience here. First of all, the hours posted online were wrong so when I showed up they were closed. The next day I came back and the lady working was very rude. She snarled when I said I didn’t have a mask and handed me one saying they still require them. It’s fine to require masks (she said because it’s a senior center), but don’t expect everyone to still carry masks in 2024. She then followed me around and told me to be careful with my backpack because if I break something I buy it. I didn’t intend on breaking anything ☺️ the store was well organized but overpriced, in my opinion. It may have been just a bad day, but I’ll stick to other thrift stores from now on.
Avoid this thrift store... Over priced, and workers are extremely impolite.
I would recommend Moiliili Community Center (MCC) a place for grandparent activity place and a place to practice Japanese from Kindergarten to 6th grade, and a place to let kids build relationships with other kids. DOWNER: The leaders there will silence the kids, not letting them build relationships while talking. The grading levels are A, B, C, and N/A. You will learn Katakana, Hiragana, and Kanji. Grandparents will have classes such as craft classes, dance classes, and other classes during the day. Kids there already are playing, and they will be served snack.
