The Andrew Jackson Police Youth Camp is a privately funded nonprofit that has run a free overnight summer camp for underprivileged Nashville and Davidson County youth ages 8-12 for over 50 years. Set on 35 acres along Old Hickory Lake in Mt. Juliet, campers spend a week (Monday-Saturday) swimming, boating on the lake, and doing recreational activities, with separate weeks for boys and girls, at no cost.
